Delirium Management Pathways

​In collaboration with Health Improvement Scotland (HIS), we at the SDA have developed pathways to support those managing delirium in the hospital setting. The pathways are designed for use in adult patients (aged 18 and over) to encourage staff to assess patients for risk factors for delirium and to screen them appropriately when a clinical suspicion of delirium exists. These pathways do not include management of alcohol or substance misuse.
